Police investigate assault

Police are investigating an assault in Yarram on 22 December.

Officers have been told a man was assaulted on Commercial Road by another male with a weapon about 8.40pm.

Officers have been told the male remained inside the vehicle at the time of the assault.

The male victim was taken to hospital for observation.

The male offender fled the scene in a white vehicle.
